However after her huge full on fit in the car she's only had 2 little ones, they seem to come and go in waves. She's also had her EC meds tonight, of which were now on day 4, and after a chat with my partner and mum in law, who we live with, we have decided that with Diazipam or not we will stick out the 28 days, to at least say we have given her the best chance at recovery, as when she's not fitting she is a happy healthy bun it would be a different story had she been in pain or totally not herself.

But we still have our fingers crossed, and Phoebe would like to send you plenty of loving for all the strength and support you have given to her mummy daddy and gammy.
    hiya,

this is good news if its day four with the paste and she only had 2 seizures yesterday, hope shes not had many today, bless her,she sounds like such a fighter, were all praying for her to recover, and i really hope the tests come back with good news so you can get some diaz into her, how is she doing eating/drinking wise? daisy was unable to do this for her self cus the ec was so advanced, but she would let us all keep Syringe feeding her, baby food (carrot, banana ones) and fiber plex ..and i found that after the seizures she would need loads of water.. she would always want more and more water when we syringed it..bless her. ypur doing a wonderful job, keep us undated xx

let us know the results, lots and lots of get well soon vibes for phoebes

Hi folks, still no news on the blood results, to see weather or not phoe can have some Diazipam, to help with her seizures. Although as of 9 o'clock Friday evening we haven't seen another seizure, although we ha e gutted her little cage where she's staying till the course of Panicure is finished, she has been binkhing and running laps around her empty cage, with just a few tubes to nibble on. And she is also enjoying more time out of her cage on a night, supervised, just to give her some of her house bunny freedom back

Thanks for all the interest and get well messages, I shall update the thread with any changes. Much love to all

Thanks Sarah, just heard from the vets today, and her blood results were fine, however upon both our judgment we aren't currently administering the Diazipam, especially sine she is doing so well, however I am being very cautious, and still caring 24hours in order to make sure that is still the case, and if at anytime this changes, I will continue to keep a dairy of it and contact the vet.

I am also being cautious of her surrounding and she is due a deep clean tomorrow, so she can have an extr long binky out and about while I do it

And we are current 1 week into the 28 day course, however 2 days after the course ends we will be moving int our new house, and I am awear its periods of stress and change that they should have the 9 day course, however I'm thinking, correct me if I'm wrong, that after having this 28 day treatment that she should be covered, and also any ore might be harmful (?)

ow this is fantastic news so pleased the results came back fine.

once the 28 day treatment is finished she should be fine and yes be covered. Then (if i was you) as your in the same situation as i am always do the 28 day course 3/4 times a year from the date this lot has finished and trash the 9 day course as it will have no effect on phoebe.
I would ask for the diazipam, you can just order it over phone and pick it up, case she does have a seizure through the night ((touch wood she wont)) but its worth while to have while she is on the paste course for the parasites.

so pleased she is recovering well.I am sure your vet has advised you,but after the 28 day course is up,request another blood test,to see if she is still a carrier.. daisy had a brain scan for this as i went to a specialist rather than my vet.. but ((TOUCH WOOD)) having done all what i have advised you,my daisy has not had any signs of the ec returning, and this is now nearly a year ago x
