will chocolate harm her?

I was giving the furries their morning greens and I left their pen kind of open...so Poppy decided to follow me through the house into the kitchen, I didn't see her there at first until I heard a bag rustling. She had gone in the open cupboard and was eating from a bag of chocolate chips

I picked her up as soon as I seen her and took her back to where she should be. Obviously chocolate isn't a good addition to her diet...but will it cause her any harm?

From what I know, which is not alot unfortunately, it's very likley that a bit of chocolate is probably going to give her a poorly tum, and some runny poops. And I'm not sure that it's as toxic to buns as it is dogs, again not 100%.

But I just wanted to try and give you some peice of mind, if your still not sure, have you tried one I those 'message a vet' websites? Its probably best you just run it by a professional.

However I hope she'll be fine. Naughty bun But sending loving, non sicky vibes

Oh dear my poor girly she's had a lot of runny poop so I've been watching her constantly, giving her a hay and a tiny bit of pellet only diet with no fresh foods. She has started to have normal poops again now, over 24 hours later so I think she's on the mend.

That will teach her for being so greedy!!

I've just seen this, glad she's ok... Tia nicked a bourbon cream biscuit and ate it before I realised it was missing on Monday evening!!! Little madam, she was on a sugar rush afterwards! She's ok too, i've been making her eat extra hay which she has been.

These bunnies eh!!!!!
